This Westminster Briefing, held in partnership with Daycare Trust, will look at the major delivery challenges for the early years sector of increasing the number of 2 year olds in early years provision from 40,000 in 2011 to 260,000 by September 2014. This conference will address the challenges facing local authorities and providers in ensuring they have sufficient capacity, in ensuring that services provided are of high quality and tailored to the needs of two year olds, and stimulating parental demand for places.
