Only two per cent of people who currently work in early years are male. Do you think there should be more effort to increase the numbers of men working in childcare and early years?
Daycare Trust and Firstcare Consultancy are delighted to announce that they have been commissioned by Government Office for London (GOL) to assist London's local authorities by providing additional support they might need to secure sufficiency of childcare in their area. The work will run to the end of March 2008. Isabelle Gregory of Firstcare will be managing the project.
This work is focused specifically on London, but local authorities in other regions are welcome to share these resources.
The work will be delivered by a specialised team of experienced consultants who will focus on three identified key areas:
