Is there sufficient childcare in your area for parents who work outside normal office hours?

So you’ve heard that your local Sure Start Children’s Centre is under threat. Maybe it’s been in the local news, you’ve spoken to another parent or member of staff, or you’ve heard about a public consultation.
The good news is that there are numerous examples from across the UK of concerned parents, staff and local people getting together to save Sure Start Children’s Centres. Now, with Daycare Trust and Unison’s online campaign guide and resources, you can too!
Use the links below to access our online campaign guide and resources, they are easy to read and will get you started in no time.
Campaigning can be expensive. Leaflets, transport, phone calls and childcare all cost money. That’s why Daycare Trust and Unison have decided to start a grants scheme to support parents campaigning to save their local Sure Start Children’s Centre.
Your campaign group can use the forms below to apply for a grant of up to £800 to spend on campaign costs.
