About the Information Line
Need childcare but not sure where to start? Wondering if you can get any help to pay for your childcare?
Daycare Trust's Information Line advisers can help you find your way by explaining the different kinds of childcare and financial help available to parents – whether you are in or out of work or studying. The Information Line is open to parents and employers. Our advisers can also signpost you to other useful resources, including specialist and local services.
Daycare Trust's Information Line offers a telephone interpretation service in 170 different langauges.
We also produce a range of factsheets for parents and employers about childcare and the financial help available, and our ‘Paying for Childcare’ website, www.payingforchildcare.org.uk includes an interactive 'Tax Credit Checker' to help you work out what financial help you are eligible for.
