Policy

Daycare Trust is Britain's national childcare campaign and the leading think tank on childcare policy. Our key objective is to succeed in establishing universal access to high quality and affordable childcare for all who need it. Since our organisation was established in 1986 we have seen good progress in the development of childcare policy, but there is still much more that we want to achieve.

You can read about our vision for childcare in our policy paper, Childcare Futures.

We are an influential organisation and are in regular contact with government departments, MPs and Peers from all the major political parties.  We undertake analysis of government policies and respond to relevant government consultations and we also provide the secretariat for the All Party Parliamentary Group on Childcare.

If you want to contact our policy team, please email: policy@daycaretrust.org.uk or telephone 0845 872 6260 (020 7940 7510).
